Frequently
Asked Questions
Q: Are Public Loan Grants real?
A:
Yes! All over the country, local government housing authorities
and other non-profit public benefit entities have millions of dollars
of bonds, grants and other forms of housing assistance to offer
the public. In many cases, these municipal gift grants never have
to be paid-back by the homeowner. To learn more, take a look at
the programs that are
currently available.
Q: Why
is this money being made available?
A:
Local government housing authorities and other non-profit
public benefit entities have a mission to help more Americans become
homeowners. The goal is to enrich and improve the local community
one family at a time.
Q: Who
can qualify for these programs?
A:
Given the variety of programs available -- almost anyone.
In general, you must have a job and documentable income. Some programs
are for low to moderate income families and individuals - while
others have no upper income or purchase price limits. Each program
has its own qualifications - that's why PublicLoanGrants.org
is so helpful. No matter what your situation, PublicLoanGrants.org
has a program that can help you.
Q: How
much does it cost to apply? How do I pay?
A:
The cost to apply is $50 for an individual or $75 for a
joint application. The reason we charge this fee is to offset the
costs involved in processing your application. As part of your application,
you will receive a comprehensive credit improvement analysis. You
must pay with a credit card to submit your online application. If
you wish to pay by cashiers check or money order, simply fill-out
the online application, and when you reach the payment screen, click
the link titled: "If you don't have a credit card, click here".
This will produce an invoice you can print and mail to us.
Q: What
happens after I submit my online application?
A:
The system will display the initial results within a few
seconds. The screen will display a list of the programs you may
be pre-qualified for as well as a link to your comprehensive credit
improvement analysis. A counselor will follow-up with you about
your results within a few business days, but if you would like to
get started immediately, you can contact us.
